Did you know that it is estimated that between 500 million to 1 billion birds die from building collisions each year in North America?

Join us on April 5th when Michael Mesure, the Executive Director of Fatal Light Awareness Program (FLAP) Canada, will present on how we can help in significantly reducing these unnecessary bird fatalities.

Michael will speak on a wide range of topics on the threats to migratory and other birds and bird collision avoidance methods, including:

– The evaluation of the bird-building collision movement

– Why birds collide with buildings

– Background on bird-friendly guidelines, standards, law and building codes

– Bird collision mitigation strategies and technologies
